Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation (Defence-related Claims) Act
DRCAThe Act that covers service-related injuries and illnesses for service between 3 January 1949 and 30 June 2004.
DRCA (formerly SRCA) provides lump-sum permanent impairment payments and weekly incapacity payments. If you served only in peacetime in this period your claim will usually fall under DRCA. ATDP advocates can lodge DRCA claims on your behalf, free.
