Ex-Service Organisation
ESOA not-for-profit organisation supporting current and former ADF members, often with welfare and advocacy services.
Examples include RSL, Mates4Mates, Legacy, Soldier On, Vietnam Veterans Australia, and many smaller unit and branch organisations. Most ESOs offer some combination of advocacy, peer support, events and welfare assistance.
